Goal of my workshops

Why workshops? The idea of my workshops is to supplement the missing skills of one or the other. For example, you can make a super fire and would like to go on a tour with little luggage but don't know what you need, or you like to sleep in nature and want to cook something to eat but you don't know which stove to use, hmm. You would like to spend the night outside with just a knife and a water bottle, maybe a tarp, but you are not sure what you can eat from nature.
These are topics that may concern you too and that's what my workshops are for. If you're interested, I'd be happy if you got in touch with me.
Workshops are possible all year round, apart from food in winter it will be difficult to find anything.
The course fee is €45 per workshop. Registration is possible at any time for 1 person or more

accommodation
This workshop is about how to build a shelter from natural materials. The most important thing is the choice of place. You will learn different ways to have a relaxing night in the forest with aids. Aids include a tarp, tent or hammock. I'll show you how a sleeping bag and a mat should be designed so that you don't freeze. Knot knowledge is very important when it comes to accommodation, of course I'll teach it to you so that you can use your tarp or anything you need a knot for.

Fire
In this workshop you will learn different ways to make fire. The course covers different types of tinder, combustion boosters and the right wood. You will learn how to make fire in the rain. You will learn to start fires with fire steel, fire drills (bow drills) or, like the Stone Age people, make fire. There are also different cooking systems: gas stoves, alcohol stoves or hobo stoves. You will learn the advantages and disadvantages of the different stoves.

Water
In this workshop I will show you what to consider when it comes to water. You will learn which water you can drink safely and what you need to pay attention to. You will learn different ways to make water drinkable and I will show you which filter systems are available. You will learn how to collect water when there is no water source nearby. The water assessment of small ponds is also important. This and more is taught in this course.

food
In this workshop you will learn where to find food in nature. You learn the different options. There are plant foods and animal foods, although the animal foods are limited to beetles, snails and worms. You will learn about different types of plants that are high in calories and how to prepare them. You will also learn how to properly prepare animal emergency food. I'll also tell you which eating utensils make sense and what you could take with you as food if you spend the night in the forest or are on a longer tour. The course includes this and much more.
